IOW Junior Youth Tera Championships

YSC hosted a very successful run Championships round in the river Yar on Saturday 7th Oct. Chief Organiser for the day was Tom Bignell assisted by Chief Race Officer Nick Measor. 26 RS Teras from across the Island took to the river, some discovering the mud quite early but all seemed to be enjoying the windy conditions. The YSC Tera sailors, most entering a regatta for the first time, learnt a lot about close fleet racing. Congratulation and a big thank you to the RIB drivers & crews, kitchen team, BBQ team, Bar Team and race committee.

The Laser fleet was hosted by RSYC and YSC member Max Newman gained a very credible 3rd place overall against some very good opposition.
