Assumed Knowledge:- None.
Course Duration:- 2 Days.
Venue:- YSC Clubhouse, River Yar, Western Solent.
Minimum Age:- 16 (Unless special conditions apply)
Course Content:-
- Launching & Recovery.
- Boat handling.
- Securing to a buoy.
- Anchoring.
- Leaving and coming alongside.
- Man Overboard Exercise.
Ability after course:-
Self sufficiency in boat handling under the right conditions.
Awareness of own limitations and that of craft.
